Fuel Price Rant Thread. HOW MUCH???????

It wouldn't have mattered if he put another 1p on, because to be honest, 1p has to come from elsewhere in his cock budget, and by this time next week, it'll be at least 1p - 4p more expensive. What is the point? And now he's declaring himself a big hero for doing it, the bell end.

FUEL DUTY

• Fuel duty cut by 1p per litre from 6pm today.

• Planned 4p per litre rise due in April to be delayed to 2012.

• Petrol price escalator cancelled when oil price is high.

• Business mileage allowance increased from 40p to 45p.

It's never 'per litre' though. It's always per 20 litres. You don't price cigarettes on per ciggie, and you can't even go into a garage and purchase a litre (2l minimum).

Bloody glad I don't have to commute into Belfast every day any more. Aside from the cost, there's a 4 lane road from where I live right to Belfast City Centre. Except for 1100 yards in the middle of it which is a 2 lane road. With a fucking school in that bit. This bit of the road has been "getting widened" since 1970, and work still hasn't started, despite the Stormont Fuckwits spending millions on buying up some of the most expensive houses in the country, to knock them down and widen the road.

When it's term time, it takes me 1 hour and 40 minutes to get the 16 miles to Belfast. In the school holidays, it takes me about 25 minutes. Taking this into consideration, and fuel costs, if I were still a Belfast commuter, I'd be on the hunt for an early 80's Yam RD-LC, and a ton of C4 to wipe that bastard school off the map.

That's me £17.50 a week better off.

No need for a Fiat 500 Twin Air just yet!

Tax cuts \ wage increases never reflect the true rate of inflation. To get that you have to look at how much rapists like the utility companies put their prices up by. They do this to cover themselves.

When I bought my C4 it cost £45 to fill it from empty. Now it costs £83 from flat. Petrol stations near me are taking the piss somewhat - their diesel prices vary from £1.37 to £1.45. Cheapest I've seen in the North West so far is £1.35 at a Sainsbury's in Wigan.

What a surprise :roll: On way to work this morning diesel was 139.9... two seconds after it was announced fuel would drop 1p a litre from 6pm tonight... the chap in the local garage across the road from work was out with his ladder changing the price to 140.9..... I assume at 6pm when he will be back with his ladder again putting it back where it was at 8am this morning 139.9..... :|:|
