1996 Mondeo dizzler - SOLD!

As previously mentioned, my dad recently had to give up driving and I offered to sell his car for him.

 

1996 'P' reg Mondeo LX 1.8 turbo diesel, MOT March 17th and taxed end of march. 169K miles. Red, usual tape 'repair' to rear bumper and some bubbling on the rear arches. One front indicator lenes has gone AWOL. would look quite presentable with a scrub up. Leccy front window, manual sunroof. I've been using it for work this week, there are no nasty noises and it pulls well but I recon It could do with some new discs as there is a 'shimmy' when braking.

 

Would obv. rather it went to someone on here than run the gauntlet of mouth-breathing mongs. Could really do with it gone ASAP as I've 'borrowed' next door's drive (with their permission!) while they're on holiday.

Put an ad on Gumtree at about 9.15 last night, got a text from the O/H at about 3.00 this afternoon saying someone had had been to look at it and was coming back at 4.00. I left work at 3.30, as I turned into my road at 4.00 a white smiley front transit(!) turned in behind me, 4.20 I had £170 in my pocket and it was gone.

Cheapness + white transit = either over the bridge already for £30 profit, or lined up for a petrol station robbery tonight....
