Astra shite for sale

Good day shiters.Due to the other half buying a KA,her old Astra needs to go so I thought I'd offer it to you lot first as I cant be arsed with dealing with the inevitable stupidity I'm bound to get from the grunting mongs you get on Ebay.

It's been a great old thing, always starts on the button even when left standing for a while and has been 100% reliable in the five years she's owned it.Its a 1.4 so cheap tax too.

Good points:

Solid old thing-No plod in rear arches!.Rest of it is sound too.

Mechanically Healthy and everything works as it should.Starts, runs and stops as it should and seems to use no oil between sevices.

Has MOT (15th Feb 2011) and tax (end of the year)

Mileage is an ants knacker over 90.000

Bad points:

Blowing back box-exhaust mid section looks a bit crusty where it joins the back box too.

Slight wobble through front wheel at all speeds-mis-shapen tyre?

A few scratches/minor scrapes on body.Worst being on N/S/R arch

I think covered most of it.Questions are welcome ofcourse

Car is located in Northants.

I would like £210 or very near offer for this.Sound fair?

Here is some pics:

Arse biscuits, same boat as Scooters here. That's an absolute bargain and they're also one of the most reliable cars I've ever known. Wasn't someone on here after a sub five hundred quid sh1tter recently?

I'm inclined to agree with our Chester City fan on this. My 1.6 CDi saloon was the best £20 I've ever spent. I'd still have it if I hadn't pushed my luck by leaving it overnight parked in the Cannibal Farm area of Liverpool.

Top car for the money. Our man will probably whinge that it isn't 'individual' enough, the fussy bastard.

Is it worth lobbing in for an MOT to see what it might need in the future? You might be lucky and get 12 months test on it.

Might do this in the new year if its still hanging about and might even keep it myself and get rid of the Vectra. As it stands at the moment the Mrs does'nt want to spend out on it and she says she wants the money from the sale to go towards pink fluffy dice and 'powered by fairy dust stickers' for her new Ka.

The good news is I've managed to find storage for it so it can be kept until the new year so that takes the heat off a bit but if it does someone a good turn on here then I dont mind selling it cheap.

I was. Until I got Fronterror'd up again. Fussy? I bought ANOTHER Frontender....hardly fussy...:-)

Back on subject, might have a punt on this any if it's still available...

I'd love to buy it as a second car but Xmas is coming and I don't want to upset Mrs Claim as it's Topless Hand Shandy Week and I couldn't cope with the hassle.

Yeah I know :x It has a Hello Kitty tax disc holder in it so she had to have it.Still, £695 for an X reg Ka with no rot and plenty of MOT it was quite a good buy I reckon.Still no MK3 Astra though :(

Hey - bit late really, but I don't suppose for some mad reason you'd like to swap it for a very clean 87 Mazda 323 with similar tax/mot thru to Feb?

Hmmm...

Thought not!

Would love this tho - we looking for something a bit comfier!
