I play Autoshite all wrong, but as you say, it's a grin. Besides, it's fun to know people who think Ladas are better than W123s.

Bugger, I was trying to remember the other day who it was on here who could do free hpi checks, my dad's girlfriend was buying a focus privately and was worried weather the finance had been paid off or not, ended up paying the £22 to find out that it was.

I drove a W123 once. I've never driven a Lada but I can't imagine it being any worse to drive than that.

Merc - power steering ; Lada - no

Merc - comfy suspension; Lada - no

Merc - elec windows ; Lada - no

Merc - cruise control ; Lada - no

Merc - 2.3 litres of power ; lada - 1.5.

merc - fuel injection ; lada - carb and cat

merc... need I go on?

 

So... what was the question? Is the Lada better? No. Do I like the Lada more? Hell yeah!

I wouldn't sell my Merc for one, but I would love one of those Zils Leonid Brehznev and co used to get carted about in !!!!!!
