Renault World Series day

Mr Lobster mentioned elsewhere that he was at Silverstone for the Renault World Series last weekend. I was there too, with the 25 on show. I thought there were some great cars there, but others may not agree?

These 2 owned by father and son. The 30 has 300k plus on the original engine and auto box!!

There were a couple of hot 21 turbos - seem to have lost the pic of the other one!

I absolutely LOVE these!

Never seen so many 5 turbos in one place!

There was actually some racing too!

Which can sometimes prove rather expensive!

Oh, and there is, of course, more to life than just cars!!

Nice pics! It is a pretty good event, just very busy though. Didn't realise you were there, would have come along to say hello otherwise!

my friend get his four year old son to stand with them and they all bent over a bit for the photo. Made it much more interesting

 

Its a good weekend though, racing is generally pretty good as well. I shall probably be back there next year.

Anyone that doesn't agree doesn't belong here. These are GR11. Shame there doesn't seem to be any A310s in attendance though.

Am I being a bit dim, coz I can't see the "quote" button anymore?! Anyhow - you're absolutely right Retrogeezer, the girl in the VERY tight hotpants (and her mate in the red skirt) were in and around one of the Clio Cup team's garage.

Oh, and BS6, the pair of 30s are actually a 30 and a 20.
