VWPowered Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 lovely that and should polish up a treat again
Alexg Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Not digging the exhaust and bonnet vents but looks like a winner. Dont want to get all RR here but Motobuild still do 1" and 2" lowering springs for these I think, IMO the 1" drop gives it the stance it always should have had.
gtd2000 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Do they come as standard with the "jack-up" kit or was that custom fitted?
maestego Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 here she after alot sweat and polish lots of work to do yet as there is quite few rust spots now for the last time i had her but i will get them sortedgot to clean up the engine bay as there lot and lot of some sort of cerment dust every where and leafs in place's that block up holds/heater blower/vents
maestego Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 oh selling my rover 213se auto now mot till 04/2011 and tax till 02/2011 (pm me)
Spottedlaurel Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 New wheels good, but I'm with Pog on the vents. I drive through Diss most days. There is the odd car in town that has a D155 registration. You should move down here.
Station Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I saw this on RR a couple of months ago, didn't seem to garner any interest?Agreed on the vents and tints, they look horrible.Do you have any pics of your 213?
whitevanman Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 No wonder your neighbours love you...if you park like that
maestego Posted September 25, 2010 Author Posted September 25, 2010 few pic of engine bay after I sorted out a few problems with piping and the backfiring it had due to rotorarm broken and dizzy cap naffed+leads so changed all of that and now much much better
Negative Creep Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Sweet, did you post them on Pistonheads as well?
steve austin Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Had a few montys in my time. The best one was a light metallic green MG 2.0 EFI that had been hotted up engine wise, gave my bro's phase one R5GT Turbo a run upto 100mph! Loving the cars, bring back good memories. My mate is running a K plate estate that has so much new metal added he could re-register as new! Keep flying the Monty flag, I am tempted now, my poor mrs...............
maestego Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 Sweet, did you post them on Pistonheads as well? yep, they are on there and else where....
Lord Sterling Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Maestego your cars look absolutley LUSH. I've never tried a Montego (Or a Meastro or a Rover 213 etc....) Hopefully one day......
eddyramrod Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Those group shots look like the scene in Convoy where Rubber Duck and his mates ride into town to bust Spider Mike out of jail!
