1988 Subaru dealer directory

My latest purchase is a 1988 Subaru directory so as with the others I thought it would be interesting to compare then with now, starting with the Humberside and Yorkshire areas

Brian Leighton Garages Flatgate Garage Howden. No longer trading having closed at least 10 years ago, it was for many years a Nissan dealer

Jordans Holderness High Road Hull. Jordans are still trading on Witham, they had several franchises at one time and for many years were a Fiat dealer, now they specialise in camper vans. Livingstone are the dealers for Hull now and also have a branch at Cranswick near Driffield 

Wayne's 12-14 Richmond Road Catterick Garrison. Now a used car dealer called Garrison Garage 

E Rowland & Sons Bar Lane Knaresborough. No longer trading 

Ray Chapman Motors 94 Thornton Road Industrial Estate Pickering. No longer trading 

DE Bentley 101 Shoreham Street Sheffield. No longer trading, the site is now a children's centre. DM Keith are now the Subaru dealer for Sheffield on Suffolk Road, they also sell Changang as well

RN Golden Mearhouse Garage New Mill Huddersfield. No longer trading. DM Keith are the dealers for Huddersfield now

Sunwin Motors Worth Way Keighley. No longer trading 

Stourton Motor Centre 63 Thwaite Gate Leeds. Now DM Keith Skoda

KT Green The White Garage Leeds-Otley Road Pool in Wharfedale. Still trading as a Subaru/Isuzu dealer, also sells Arctic trucks and is a Mitsubishi authorised repairer
