2002 Subaru dealer directory

At first I'm just planning on condensing some of the southern sites I already discovered as part of the memory dealer thread. I will potentially revisit them at a later point (I will update with proper addresses too!). Source: The Subaru website via the Wayback Machine. Because of the nature of the Wayback Machine, this technique only works for certain sites/times i.e. anything that relies on a search to show dealers won't work. Fortunately Subaru had an interactive map that as you clicked on gave you certan areas of the country and just wrote the details on each bit. What it does mean though, is that I have times/dates when the garage showed up on the list, from about mid-2001 up to about mid-2003.

Bristol

Tiley of Bristol, Vale Lane, Hartcliffe Way, Bristol - still trading as a used car garage, still had Subaru signs til 2024.

Cornwall

Roseland Motors, Tresillian, Truro - current Mercedes Benz of Truro site, I believe. The Cornwall section is omitted entirely by August of 2002.

Devon

Ashburton Motor Works, Peartree Cross, Ashburton - still there and apparently one of the best rated dealers in the country!

Parks Exeter, Alphin Brook Road, Marsh Barton - Postcode says it's on the eastern half after the Hennock Road roundabout, which would imply to me either the current Plumbase store (which seems appropriately sized for a Subaru franchise perhaps) or part of the larger Tracks Suzuki showroom. Subaru now handled by Livery Dole round the corner on Trusham Road

Templeton Motors, Braunton Road, Barnstaple - on the list July 2001, gone by December! Potentially became the site of Barnstaple Volkswagen, which later moved across the road and is now under Marshall. Looks relatively unused to me now.

Dorset

Chapelgate, 282/4 Bath Road, Ferndown, Bournemouth - became a Porsche Centre not long after this list, currently, Tesla Centre Bournemouth

Somerset

Atkins Motors, 33 Wellington New Road, Taunton - Looks to have been shops since at least 2008, a Majestic, a kitchen shop and a Co-op at present.

GC Stanbury, Wreneaton, Dulverton, Somerset - Still trading as service/parts, used cars. Fairly recent change, I believe.

Vale Motors - In May 2001 this is listed at Wincanton Business Park in Wincanton, this site still sort of exists under the Vale Motors name but under FJ Chalke - the showroom in question appears to do GWM, Isuzu, possibly Omoda and Jaecoo, and Fiat/Suzuki aftersales, but FJ Chalke have a site behind too that was Nissan, and now appears to be service/vans/Kia PBV . It still had Subaru signs in 2008.

Flash forward to December 2001 they are actually then credited as Brympton Way, Lynx West Trading Estate, Yeovil - two possible sites here, currentl Howards Peugeot/Hyundai (formerly Astley Kia/Saab), or current Vertu Volvo behind it (formerly Carshop/Snows Seat)

Wiltshire

Millway Cars, 41-43 West Street, Wilton, Salisbury - On the Subaru website May 2001, gone by July, site was houses by 2008.

Simpsons of Swindon Sales, Swindon Road, Highworth - original sales site was also Daihatsu, flattened early-mid 2010s.

Simpsons of Swindon Service, Blackworth Industrial Estate, Highworth - this is now their showroom too! Looks to have dabbled with both Mitsubishi and GWM since but is just selling Subaru now.

Berkshire

Lancaster, Bridge Garage, Station Road, Pangbourne - Station Garage appears to comprise both Aston Martin Reading and Lamborghini Pangbourne, and used to house Bentley Berkshire under Broughtons, too.

SGT, Station Road, Taplow - found this properly under the Lotus thread, now flats, was Subaru/Mitsubishi/Alfa/Morgan/Lotus.

Buckinghamshire

Adams, Oakfield Road, Aylesbury - half the showroom's now a Sainsburys Local but the other half's still operating, albeit possibly Isuzu only now.

Anthony Betts, 82-84 Newport Road, New Bradwell, Milton Keynes - housing estate by 2021, looked to be abandoned in 2012 but with Subaru signs just about visible on Street View.

East Sussex

E O Culverwell, Station Road, Robertsbridge - Still trading as Subaru/Isuzu, and very much an old school agricultural Subaru dealer!

Essex

Days of Chelmsford, 74 Main Road, Broomfield - became Chelmsford Hyundai, housing estate as of 2019

Wilsons, 1171 High Road, Chadwell Heath - was Mitsubishi, became Romford Kia, became Glyn Hopkin and moved away - now a cash and carry.

Osborne Garages, North Station Road, Colchester - this name came up on Hyundai, local chain perhaps - satellite imagery suggests what is the Majestic store on the Albert roundabout now, but the Kwik Fit next to it is also a possibility.

Greater London

Ace Kensington Sales, 18-23 Radley Mews, Stratford Road, Kensington - private housing now but had a classic dealer in it til COVID.

Ace Kensington Service, 52 Churchfield Road, Acton - had flats on it since 2006.

Cheam Motors, 4-8 Cheam Road, Ewell - still there in 09, Sainsburys with flats by 2012

Lavender Hill Garage, 78 The Rigdeway, Enfield - a petrol station and second hand dealer now.

Marlborough, 317-331 London Road, Isleworth - last seen 2006, now Tesco Express and a bookies

Hertfordshire

Quenby Bros, High Street, Baldock - still going as a used dealer, still specialising in Subaru, formerly Daihatsu too.

Hampshire

Mill Lane Engineering, Andover Road, Newfound, Basingstoke - a different second hand dealer now

Sparshatts, Broad Oak, Botley, Southampton - Currently Richmond MG, next to Skoda. Formerly Nissan, Suzuki, Isuzu, at least Ford service.

Kent

Barretts, The Westgate, Canterbury - All now houses, presume it was in the showrooms off Pound Lane (where Seat and Citroen spent time), Subaru moved to the Vauxhall Industrial Estate around 2014 on the side of Canterbury Mazda, and disappeared in 2016, they were in the unit now occupied by JCB Renault/Dacia

Lancaster, 92 London Road, Sevenoaks - now Ferrari but has been Bentley/Lamborghini

Walldonway, 1 Loose Road, Maidstone - either former Hidsons Seat premises and now a Co-Op, or former Chambers Honda bikes that's now a Kwik Fit - inclined to believe Seat for this one - this premises came up in the 83 Hyundai thread.

Oxfordshire

Cross Country Vehicles, Hailey Service Station, Hailey, Witney - This became Simpsons at some point in the 2010s (probably when the Swindon showroom closed?) and was doing Isuzu before then. It's been Woodstock Car Sales second hand dealer since about 2022.

Surrey (Cheam Motors also credited here)

Bell and Colvill, Epson Road, West Horsely - possibly still there as Lotus but looks to have moved to Guildford and not be Subaru any more.

Concours Motor Co, 9 West Street, Haslemere - changed hands to Proven Subaru/Isuzu/Daihatsu, still there in 2010, since 2014 it's been retail units

Spring Park Motors, 850 Wickham Road, Shirley, Croydon - became Masters, had Great Wall before rebrand to GWM, Mitsubishi and MG came, now a Toolstation.

West Sussex

Gatwick, BCL House, Gatwick Road, Crawley - formerly a Mitsubishi and Hyundai site, now Gatwick Kia

Channel Islands

Le Mont Saint Garage, Le Mont Saint, St Saviours, Guernsey - Still trading from the same site as a petrol station and Fiat/Alfa/Abarth/Jeep dealer.

Maugers Garage, Sion Garage, St John, Jersey - still a petrol station, was still selling Subaru and Isuzu in 2010.

Bedfordshire

Oakley Garage, Station Road, Oakley - a mix of units now.

Cambridgeshire

Welch Group, London Road, Great Shelford - still going in 2012 (Daihatsu and Isuzu too), knocked down 2014, houses now. Moved up the road to Buckingham and Stanley in Trumpington in the former Chevy/Cambridge Saab showroom, now also MG.

Donalds, 50-64 Burghley Road, Peterborough - Not present in 2000, discussed previously in other threads, no trace of Subaru here by 2009, now MG and Mazda. Subaru now at MT Cars in Whittlesey as of 2015.

Derbyshire

Beechdale Motor Group, Siddals Road, Derby - Moved about a bit... by 2008 they were up on Mansfield Road alongside Alfa, Isuzu and Ssangyong, was back on Siddals Road in 2012 for a spell in the old Beechwood Saab garage and gone by 2014. Subaru now handled by Geoff Cox up the road in Denby.

Farmers Garage, Smedley Street, Matlock - now Subaru specialists but were still main dealers until fairly recently, if their website is to be believed the first Subaru dealer in the UK back in 1979, and fairly early for Isuzu in 1988.

Triangle of Chesterfield, Duke Street, Whittington Moor - Now Triangle Kia.

Leicestershire

Heritage, 459 Aylestone Road, Leicester - now Unity Fiat, Abarth, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM, no longer Subaru as of about 2020. Sacked off Ssangyong in about 24 as well! Became Unity around 2014, was still Heritage til then.

Lincolnshire

3 separate Chandlers sites

Lincoln - 2 Wrightsway, Greetwell Road - Chandlers Oil and Gas had a site at the bottom of Wrightsway, which is now Lincs Van Hire

Horncastle - Boston Road - still trading as Chandlers GWM, possibly also KGM. Lost Subaru around 2010.

Grantham - Main Road, Belton - still trading as farm equipment, KGM and possibly Ineos? Lost Subaru maybe about 2015.

Norfolk

Greenways Garage, 10 Greenways, Eaton, Norwich - Houses by 2006. Subaru fell under Constitution Motors, at some point on Woodcock Road until 2024 where they closed up shop.

Thurlow Nunn Standen, Bridge Road, Downham Market - More agricultural. Boarded up by 09, now a Sue Ryder charity shop and former Original Factory Shop

Northamptonshire

Westaway Motors, Welford Road, Spratton - Still Subaru in 09, still trading as Isuzu and KGM - for many years with a Ssangyong logo slapped atop the Subaru logo on the Subaru style signage!

Nottinghamshire

Lucas of Mansfield, 11-25 Nottingham Road - Closed about 2007/2008, knocked down a bit after, now a car park. Former Proton and Daihatsu premises.

Speeds of Nottingham, 131 Alfreton Road - This is only visible on a variant of the site from July 2000. It still exists as a Tesco Express and Papa Johns but had a previous life after Subaru as a branch of Yes Car Credit. Speeds itself I believe may have merged into Stratstone, possibly some time around 2006-2008.

Beechdale, Lenton Lane, Nottingham - This postcode and road covers many potential franchises which I reckon will make this tough. I reckon there are two/three feasible options: the current Vertu/formerly Lookers Honda premises, which was a lot smaller back then, possibly one of the Sytner showrooms as this didn't apparently move from Huntingdon Street until maybe 2004, or a slim chance it might be where Graypaul Maserati and Ferrari sit now. Out of the three, my money's on Honda, as Lookers were up on Plains Road in Mapperley for a bit too.

Gloucestershire

T.H.White, Tetbury Road, Cirencester - Seemed to exist until about 2012, now office buildings. Not sure if they also had the larger showroom opposite where the Texaco garage was too? T.H.White still seem to operate as agricultural stuff.

C D Bramall, 599 Princess Elizabeth Way, Cheltenham - Harley Davidson showroom, and Blade Honda/Alfa Romeo by 2009, then became Cheltenham Audi, rebuilt, still there. Harley moved down the road to the former County Mercedes Benz, Alfa now operating under Unity in the former Jaguar premises on Rutherford Way.

Staffordshire

Holdcroft, Brunswick Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme - Flattened by 2009, now looks to be the site of the Jubilee 2 leisure centre. Holdcroft still hold multiple franchises within the area but not Subaru.

Shropshire

J.N.Royle and Son, Cross Garage, West Felton, Oswestry - Actually not where I thought it was in the Hyundai thread! A little further down Holyhead Road from that crossroads. Where Pradoe View is now. Building site by 2009.

William A Lewis Cars, Featherbed Lane, Shrewsbury - No longer Subaru but still exists - William A Lewis held Renault and Volvo at this site by 2009 alongside a small showroom that was unused and could well have been Subaru - By 2012 they'd gained Nissan, 2015 lost Renault and rebranded as Greenhous, now the site seems to be Nissan, Geely and possibly Omoda/Jaecoo.

Warwickshire

Cross Roads 4WD Centre, Tredington, Shipston-on-Sour - still there and still trading Subaru and Isuzu under the Unity brand, which is a fairly recent change.

Fenny Compton Garage, Fenny Compton Wharf, Leamington Spa - Satellite imagery suggests to me the current crane hire premises that clearly looks to be ex-petrol station on the A423

West Midlands

Andrew Burt, Stratford Road, Wootton Wawen - a succession of second hand garages until 2024 when it became a farm shop and restaurant.

Carstins, 324 Station Road, Balsall Common - now under Unity as of about 2018, still selling Subaru alongside Jeep, Isuzu and Leapmotor. Has dabbled in MG, and potentially Ford or Fiat service?

Showells Garages, 82 Stourbridge Road, Lye - still there in 09, Hyundai by 2011, Startin Hyundai and Ford by 2014, swapped Hyundai for Honda in 2016, lost Ford in 2018, site abandoned by 2019, Trust Skoda by 2020 and now Johnsons Skoda. 

interesting trajectory here - in December 2001 they show at a temporary address, Birmingham Street in Stourbridge - claimed to be until early 2002, presumably as that showroom is built. That site looks to be the former Brooklyn Ford site, which is now All Electric Garages motorhomes division with a bit of KGM thrown in as well.

Oaken Garage, Hollyhead Road, Wolverhampton - stopped being a main dealer around 2010, shut by 2016, now a bike clothing shop

Cutlers of Streetly, Chester Road, Streetly - not on the list until 2001. Where Grange Drive and houses now is, gone by about 2006.

Worcestershire

Listers, Hallow Road, Worcester - Now a used garage since 2021, was second hand in 2008, Westlands Toyota in 2009, Westlands Hyundai in 2016.

Cheshire

Monks Heath Motors, Chelford Road, Nether Alderley - Still trading as Monks Heath Motors til about 2012, Subaru and Isuzu til then, now second hand garages selling some very tasty looking motors.

Cumbria

John Wilding, Kendal Motor Village, Queen Katherines Drive (sic), Kendal - Still there in some form albeit not in nearly the same scale as Kendal Honda - a lot of the additional showrooms/garage have become retail shops.

Stan Palmer, Auchinleck Drive, Rosehill Industrial Estate, Carlisle - the showroom was still on this site in 2018 as Subaru/Isuzu but has since moved to the corner into the former Mercedes premises where they do Suzuki and Honda now.

Durham

GMD Car Sales, High Street, Carrville - only listed from Feb 2003. Also A690 Car Sales. Still operating second hand as A690 Specialist Cars.

East Riding of Yorkshire

Jordans, 45-52 Witham, Hull - looks to have been FiatChrysler products for a long time but recently just Stellantis service and motorhomes.

Greater Manchester

A.P. Hynes and Co, 245 Barlow Moor Road, Charlton - off the list by the end of 2001, gone by 2003 on satellite view, houses where Fielden Court is now. Still operating as a premium used car garage out of Hale Barns Garage in Altrincham now.

Lancashire

A and J White, Roe Lee Garage, Whalley New Road, Blackburn - would've been one of the units on the Roe Lee Park estate, now a variety of shops/businesses.

H Robinson and Sons, Central Garage, Water Street, Rochdale - now Kawasaki since 2012.

I.G.W Services, The Island, 2 Blackburn Road, Bolton - this is off the list by May 2001 - looks to have been Mercedes Benz Bolton for quite some time!

Gibsons of Brock, Garstang Road, Brock - this is also off the list by May 2001 - it's currently a flooring store and I only found it due to one Subaru service sign on Street View in 2009!

Merseyside

Intermoto, 782-790 Queens Drive, Liverpool - gone by 2001, building still exists, was Hatfields Land Rover Service in 2008, now a photography studio and bedroom showroom

Northumberland

Dennis Common, West Road Garage, Longframlington - Moved in 2021 and now houses. Now found hanging off the side of Tustain Motors (formerly Vauxhall) in Alnwick, possibly now merged into that, may still be doing Isuzu but I doubt it.

Gilesgate, Dene Park, Corbridge Road, Hexham - much reduced operations but still operating as a mechanics on the same site, some units used for other things now. Was still Subaru officially in 2011.

North Yorkshire

Bentleys, Bar Lane Garage, Knaresborough - not listed by 2001, looks likely to be the current Piccadilly Kia site, formerly Fiat/Alfa

Chapmans, 94 Thornton Road Industrial Estate, Pickering - there in 2009, gone by 2016, now a fireplace place. Not to be confused with Ray Chapmans in Malton.

SG Petch, Victoria Road, Richmond - petrol station. Still Subaru in 2011, gone by 2015, petrol station still stands although not nearly as unique looking! Site moved to Green Howards Road (although I think both were running in tandem if the dates are right) and still operating just as Kia.

F R Pulleyn, Whitehall Garage, Wigginton Road, York - rebranded to Martyn Beever Skoda as of 2008, by 2011 it was Seat and Skoda for DM Keith who still have it along with a recent BYD addition

South Yorkshire

Burrells, Barnby Dun Road, Doncaster - off the list by Dec 2002 - regained Subaru in the mid 00s, had Isuzu, Mitsubishi and Ssangyong, now a prep centre for Riverside up the road as of about 2019.

D E Bentley, 101 Shoreham Street, Sheffield - also off the list by Dec 2002 - student flats by 2008

Monty's, 288 Penistone Road, Sheffield - this is the one that ended up replacing both on the list in Dec 2002. Didn't seem to do Subaru for long but still operating now as a fairly recently rebranded Stoneacre Suzuki.

West Yorkshire

K T Green, Southfield House, Southfield Lane, Bradford - off the list by 2001. The Premier on the corner it seems.

K T Green, The White Garage, Leeds-Otley Road, Pool in Wharfedale - still there, still trading as Subaru, Mitsubishi and Isuzu (and Arctic Trucks!)

R N Golden, Mearhouse Garage, New Mill, Huddersfield - until 2002. Not sure I can find this!

By 2003, R N Golden shows at Wakefield Road, Lepton, Huddersfield - still there as Hyundai and Isuzu.

Tyne and Wear

C D Bramall, Etherstone Avenue, Newcastle - only on the list from Dec 2002 - multi-franchise site now where Sainsburys is, abandoned in 2008 - ex Rover premises.

Scotland

Aberdeenshire

Town & Country Motors, Greenwell Road, East Tullos, Aberdeen - a little further up the road than the Porsche and Land Rover sites that now have a Lidl on them - looks to have closed during the summer of 2009, flattened in 2020 and now a car park.

Angus

Fiskens of Forfar, Queenswell Road - still operating as a Kia dealer, Subaru was in the current used building which was Kia for many years (still has bodged Subaru signage in 2008, must've lost em before then) and now Kia have moved into the former Vauxhall building.

Dumfries and Galloway

Dean Motor Company, Edinburgh Road, Heathall, Dumfries - this was off the list by the middle of 2002. Deans were Skoda in 2009, shortly rebranded to Border alongside their Toyota showroom in 2010, Hyundai joined in 2011, and this is pretty much how it stayed until now where Hyundai have been swapped out for Chery and the whole site is under Park's.

Falkirk

Drive, 95 Glasgow Road, Camelon - this was a December 2002 addition - This site's still going as Ian Grieve Subaru, Suzuki, Isuzu, Jeep and shortly to take on Mitsubishi.

Glasgow

Eaglesham Garage, 77 Gilmour Street, Eaglesham - still going as Isuzu and Subaru service, used cars.

Highland

Aird Motors, Beauly, Inverness - still there, still Subaru

Hawco Summit, 50 Harbour Road, Inverness - this is off the list by October 2002. Going off the numbering is quite tricky, as they seem to jump from 48 (Hawco VW) to up the side road and 52 (Corrie Motors ex-Toyota) - my best guess is that it was part of the VW site that has since been demolished.

Dicksons of Inverness, 23-34 Carsegate Road - presumably this replaced Hawco Summit as only appears from October 2002. It's not clear which showroom would've been Subaru out of the 3 there, my guess would be either the small MG unit at the back or part of what is currently Nissan. They also have Kia on site, and have since put Suzuki across the road.

Midlothian

A F Noble, 18 Edinburgh Road, Penicuik - Moved to another site by 2018, and that site was flattened in 2022 and is now a Farmfoods. The new site on Eastfield Farm Road is still trading Subaru, Isuzu, GWM, Mitsubishi and Xpeng.

Moray

Reekie Forres, Greshop Industrial Estate, Forres - gone off the list after July 2001 - Either where there's a used car dealer now or where the Lidl sits, I reckon, but it's hard to tell.

Perthshire and Kinross

Kenneth Melville, Inchmichael Garage, Dundee Road, Errol - still a petrol station and mechanics, under different names.

Town & County Motors, Crieff Road, Perth - looks to be abandoned in 2009, Specialist Cars NIssan by 2015, Western by 2021, abandoned again by 2022

King and Sons, Dunkeld Street, Aberfeldy - off the list by 2003 - now a Co-op and petrol station.

Renfrewshire

Goudies Garage, 7 West Street, Paisley - off list by 2002, flats by 2005.

South Ayrshire

S&S Services, Old Bridge Road, Heathfield, Ayr - still there today still selling Subaru, Isuzu and Mitsubishi.

Shetland

M&R Gair, Blackhill Industrial Estate, Gremista, Lerwick - again, still there, still selling Subaru, Isuzu and MG. Also formerly Daihatsu.

Wales

Aberconwy and Colwyn

Threeways Garage, Faenol Avenue, Abergele - Still there, albeit not doing Subaru since about 2010 - at the time of writing, Hyundai, Fiat, Suzuki, MG and Isuzu

Cardiff

CVC, 425-427 Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff - a Tesco Express since at least 2008, although weirdly they still seemed to own the garage bit next door which operated as an MOT centre still for a few years - this is still a garage, just under other ownership.

Flintshire

E Stuart Jones (Dobshill Garage), Dobshill, Hawarden, Deeside - Hyundai and Alfa by 2009, second hand under new names and a pet shop by 2016, the petrol station next door rebuilt on its site in around 2022 and a Costa where the petrol station was now.

Swansea

Swansea Subaru, 375 Carmarthen Road, Cwmbrwla - This disappears off the list in 2002. It's now Sytner Mini (formerly Trainer).

Monmouthshire

Keith Price, Llanwenarth Citra, Crickhowell - you may recognise the name from the Hyundai thread, will this is their other premises, which si still going as Subaru, Peugeot and Mitsubishi.

Powys

Mantles, The Garage, Trefeglwys, Caersws - This was marked as Aftersales and Parts only in 2003, still had signs up in 2009 but is now a community co-op and industrial units.

Northern Ireland

Antrim

Beechlawn Motors, 81 Ladas Drive, Belfast - still trading, seems to have been mostly used stuff since Street View became a thing though - Subaru signs stayed around til about 2014.

Eden Car Sales, 55 Redbrae Road, Carrickfergus - still trading, this site is in the middle of literally nowhere, the site itself isn't visible from the main road, but there were Subaru signs until 2023 - I suspect they gave up new sales long before then!

Eastwood Motors, 197 Moira Road, Lisburn - Still trading as Subaru and Isuzu - still got the old Daihatsu sign up and still got the old Subaru branding on the building too!

S.E.R.E, 22 Boucher Crescent, Belfast - off the list by 2001 - these premises became Bavarian Mini at some point, then RMG Motors MG in about 2012, MG didn't last long, site abandoned for a bit, then brilliantly it became Belfast Infiniti, now Mervyn Stewart used site. SERE themselves still operate as a used car site and KGM dealer, although pretty sure they had more than this.

Wilsons of Rathkenny, 381 Cushendall Road, Rathkenny - from 2001 - still trading but not as Subaru - Vauxhall, Seat and approved Kia repair (previously Nissan and Fiat), as well as lots of garden and agricultural stuff.

Donnelly Bros, 2 Apollo Road, Belfast - from Dec 2002 - There in 2008, gone by 2010, although they still have plenty of other franchises elsewhere.

Down

Edwin Long Motors, 9-11 Portaferry Road, Newtownards - still there and still specialising in them, with some delightfully crap signage straight out of 1987.

Fermanagh

Oriental Motors, 56 Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen - there's a big patch of what looks like wasteland that I think must have been it, long gone by the time street view was there and satellite imagery can't help me out here either.

Derry/Londonderry

McKeary Motors, 11 Cashel Road, Macosquin - still operating albeit much smaller, main premises is now a motorhome dealer.

Tyrone

Saltmarine, Tamnamore, Dungannon - still trading as new Mazda and Hyundai, alongside approved service for Ford and Honda. No sign of Subaru here.

Negative. It was part of the Rover premises. Long since flattened for the hospital.

Am I being thick, I can't see a hospital or any trace of one on that road? I have since found another premises that sits where Sainsburys does now, perhaps that's the one it referred to?

Cross Roads 4WD Centre, Tredington, Shipston-on-Sour - still there and still trading Subaru and Isuzu under the Unity brand, which is a fairly recent change.  I got my BRZ from there in 2015, they were part of Unity then and I use the Unity at Balsall Common for servicing (I did use the Subaru dealer in Halesowen for a while as they are just down the road but stopped using them when they smashed the windscreen while it was in for a service)

William A Lewis Cars, Featherbed Lane, Shrewsbury - No longer Subaru but still exists - William A Lewis held Renault and Volvo at this site by 2009 alongside a small showroom that was unused and could well have been Subaru - By 2012 they'd gained Nissan, 2015 lost Renault and rebranded as Greenhous, now the site seems to be Nissan, Geely and possibly Omoda/Jaecoo. Went here when I was looking for a BRZ/GT86 and they said we are not selling any BRZ's as they had one for months and nobody would buy it.
