Dead Galaxy for sale.

I just went to look at as Galaxy with a view to fixing it's dead engine. No compression, not a jot. Bugger all. NO water, oil leaks etc. I reckon it's screwed.

Does anyone want to offer the owner scrap price for it? 135k on the clock, tired interior, scrapes all over.

 

It's a 2.3 4 banger manual, but TBH there's not much point really....

Sounds like the chains gone - pricey to fix unbless you have a donor.

 

Although scrapping sounds more like the only viable use now. Shame, they went like the clappers.

2.3 DOHC Petrol. Chain's intact, cams spin with cranking. It turns over like a decompressed English Electric in a Class 37...... No smoke though....

Oil pissing out the front seal, no water in header tank. It's kerchaggered. Went boom in the middle lane of the M180 last night.

I 've been told I can strip it and weigh the rest in....... I might still take the engine/ECU/Loom/gubbins..... sell it on the Sierra Club Forum... If it's complete, at least the block etc. might be good for a 2.0 8v head conversion.... You never know.
