That makes two of us! I was pleasantly surprised when I jumped in it this morning and realised it has a sunroof; something I completely failed to notice last night in all the excitement!

Since when has booking an MOT at short notice been so difficult!? It might have to wait until next weekend. Not the end of the world though. If it comes to it I can tuck it away in the car park at work for a few days. I have form when it comes to doing that.

Thought I'd see if there was any evidence of a timing belt change as I'm not a fan of playing cambelt roulette. No concerns there; turns out it's got a chain so no belt to worry about. 

The only thing that leaves on the to-do list is the tracking. It's only out a smidge but that's my only niggle. It drives perfectly otherwise.

My usual MOT guy is on holiday until the end of the month and the local garage is booked up for a couple of weeks. I might risk booking it in with a local fast-fit centre this weekend.

Managed to book a last-minute slot at an MOT-only garage this afternoon. I turned up a little early and the place was absolutely packed. 

I chucked them the keys and in return was given a sign to put on the roof so the tester could locate the car. I thought it made it look like a minicab circa 1999.

I then went for a lovely* walk around the industrial estate while refreshing the MOT website every couple of minutes on my phone. Then I got locked out because the system thought I was a robot.

After about half an hour I returned and was given the good news. A pass with a few minor advisories.
