It's in East Yorkshire

Hi guys, I know it isn't a BX, but my ex XM has lost its home, and if no-one saves it it will be scrapped.

M reg 2.0 Turbo petrol Auto. Was my personal car until a broken high pressure pipe put it off the road (replacement now sorted). Starts and drives ok. No tax/MOT, as the guy who bought it just left it there for 3 years and didn't do anything...strut tops now need cleaning and de-rusting, but I *think* they are saveable. Auto box religiously cared for by the guy I bought it from, and has no problems. Paint very good, and a beautiful colour. 3-knob climate control needs a new control panel. The car is a VSX but I fitted leather seats from an SEI and a leather steering wheel - looks really good inside:

Present owner is losing the space and needs it gone ASAP - arrange insurance, book a MOT and drive it away for only £200 - you know you want to!

Someone please save it from the scrapman - this was my first XM, and I wish I could save it myself. PM me for contact details.

it looks a tidy one ... and will you find one with leather for less - it's worth more broken ...

Thanks Messserschmitt.

I (briefly) owned a 2.0 turbo auto but to be honest it was just about fucked. Having said that it was £200 cheaper than this one so I can't really complain.

I wonder if he's actually fitted the HP pipe (it'll be a twat of a job) and how bad the strut tops are as they are the killer on these things. Good auto box is a plus, they're usually pretty shit I'm afraid.

the pipe has been done - I'd want to see pics of strut tops, if it was me! As a breaker there's a few hundred in bits and then a ton for the scrap man.

I wouldn't want an auto myself - I like control over the gearbox!
