To explain for those of a southern shandy drinking persuasion:

The Cumberland gap has lanes coned off since the last ice age, with SFA going on in them.

Once you get to the end of the M74 at Gretna all of a sudden the cones vanish and the whole road is available ,

for lane two (or three ) crawling ...

70 all the way officer!

And hame. No issues...

Apart from I pulled off the M74, and put the flappy paddles to work. It's a lot of fun! Darkness was closing in and I was struggling a bit. As it got darker I couldn't see a thing! Main beam was very good, but dip was non existent.

I stopped and had a look, both lights were on and bright, but the beam pattern was all over the place. Bulbs in skew whiff..  after melting the skin off my fingers, I located the little tabs properly, and whizzed home via Carnwath. Still a 40MPH limit due to congestion on the stupid bridge. Something to do with Robbie Williams. Bastard.

500 mile round trip . Trains and Temu  bus was £46 all in. Smart used 3/4 of a tank on the way home so 26 quid say..

Total collection for a hunner, including food and coffee.

A grand day oot!

Living in a shitty city with fuckall parking, I rate these VERY highly. These are the only cars that you can reliably park as you can squeeze between the trash cans, park on half a parking spot where the tree is, and generally squeeze where normal cars just can’t fit.

Enough space for shopping and plenty of space inside as it’s a two seater. Plenty fast for driving around town, and very frugal as well.

These are a bit more sensibly assembled than gen1 cars so easier to work on IIRC.
