Eh up all..well i managed to escape NZ by 10mins to spare..airline wouldnt let me on the plane in auckland with a one way ticket and Aussie passport which meant i had pay $1700 cash for a return ticket..and my UK passport showed up on the day i left...i shed a tear for Viva 2dr on leaving as shes being disposed of at a classic car auction my former work is performing..along with with my tonne of rear tail lights but at least ill gain a sweet sum for the latter and not the former...

Im staying on Stoke Newington High St with a birds eye view of the street below..and of course..hardly any shite and tonnes of bling ..typical scene stuff,VWs and Minis..but i kind of expected this as youve all kept me informed of whats going on...

Back in NZ partners Sharona the Corona got a large stone thru the windscreen thankfully not on her side but showered the dog in glass..and then Viva No2 conked out so she was well pissed off..she l flog Sharona and retain the Viva as her daily...but anyway..its good to be here and hopefully NZ will perform better today than that crap English team..

I don't know if things have changed, but if you take a short stroll up the road to Stamford Hill, the area was known as Volvo City because of the large number of Hassidic Jews living there who drove shite Volvos. I was brought up in that area and I can remember that in some streets about half the cars were well-worn Volvos  . Channel 4 even did a documentary on the area and called it 'Volvo City'

I haven't been to that part of the world for a few years, but I would be interested to know if it is still the same. Dunsmure Road, off the main road, would be a good starting point
