Fiat used to be one of the very few makes where aftermarket shocks were better than genuine ones from the main dealer.

Finally bothered my arse to have a look under the Panda earlier. 

I think I've found the cause of the loudness... It's not a sports exhaust, it's a big ol' split in the flexi pipe to the exhaust. 

Getting it into the garage Monday to get it repaired. Will be cheap, anyway...!

Had it down the Beehive Road near me earlier, nice little driving road I take all my new cars down. The Panda is just *so* much fun to drive. Always feels like you're doing about 15mph more than you actually are!
