I do know SAAB use the *ionisation of a firing plug/on compression stroke to guess the firing cycle on startup.

A bog standard knock sensor is listed for your car, so doubt it uses spark plug ionisation monitoring as well, would seem to be overkill….

I've had a 'brrbzz..drinnng' emanating from below for the last week... Grabbed a few pieces of heat shield whilst doing the oil drain... The bathtub alloy heat shield along the exhaust, before the tank, had dropped off the rearmost washers and was sitting on my 'delete pipe' 😐

As we can see, the heat shield runs along a folded pressing >> I liberated a wire coat hanger, chopped two halves/folded back and folded again [like a hair grip] and slid into void >> Sorted 👍🥂

Silence returned...

Not using lights much this time of year...

I have a dipped bulb off 🫤

.... My n/s fog lamp lens is grotty rust brown so I popped for these scrappers and might get my spanner guy to fit (his lift has the wheels hanging/better height access).

If either has a bulb in it then goody... I've a fog off, too 😶.

Thinking about him fitting my rear springs/dampers, which I have in the cupboard 🔧👍

Lamp units arrived, for a tenner, (the one I don't want is karked) but it did have a good light bulb 👍

The one I do want is unmarked+ no brown staining in the reflector 😋

I'm getting a long series T20 driver, for my ratchet head....
