There's been a bit of love for these of late on here, so thought I'd post this up.

Up for grabs is Mrs_cav's Saab 9000. It's a 2.0lpt, with MOT till the end of April 2011 and tax till November. It passed 150000 miles yesterday and we've owned it for 4 years (it was mine at first).

Beige leather interior, CS spec so some toys but not loads and Anniversary wheels which were on it when bought. They could do with a bit of tidying (old remnants of tyre weights, some lacquer peel) but are pretty presentable. It's had new front springs and 2 Toyo tyres in January, with legal but probably cheap ones on the rears. Since owning it's had a replacement clutch and a new DI unit, which weren't cheap. We regularly get 32-33mpg without trying, so not bad for a big car.

Bad bits include:

-Intermittent ABS light – managed to get it to stay off long enough to pass the MOT but it seems to stay on/go off when it fancies. Suspected problem is one of the rear sensors, according to a local garage.

-Rust on the front wings (see pics) which is minging.

-Has electric drivers seat but the switch broke, so is only adjustable with a screwdriver! It all still works though. The heated seat recently packed up but the passenger one still functions.

-Has a snapped exhaust stud where it meets the turbo. Was like this when bought and have 'rectified' with the aid of a metal clamp and a jubilee clip (has been like this for 3+ years). Not perfect but sounds way better than without it there and I regularly check the arrangement to make sure it hasn't moved.

-Reckon it could do with a bottom ball joint on the OSF. Replaced the NSF last year for its MOT and it's just gone through another without any mention, though it does clunk occasionally.

-No stereo – was on long term loan from my brother.

-Only 1 key and fob.

We don't really have much service history, since we intended to keep it until it died. However, Mrs_cav found an MX5 and so here it is.

Car is located in Leeds, 5 minutes from Junction 44 of the A1(M).

£450 please.

Had an unusually busy week with work, so haven't had much luck trying to shift this. We're picking up Mrs_cav's MX5 tomorrow, so anyone fancy it for a reduced price of £350?As a bonus, the ABS light issue seemed to cure itself this week 8)

mega bargain! I would love to buy this as an accompaniment to my 9000, which my mum appears to have nicked.
