Like the ShittyRover, it looks fucking crap before its even hit the showrooms. Wonder if it will be FAIL or people will buy them just because of the badging?

LOLZ, the shitty Rover was pretty dire but to be fair I don't think the new MG-2 looks too bad apart from the headlights maybe and the fact it looks a bit messy at the rear.

CityRover? The car that never came to Holland.

You wouldn’t have wanted it to.

Rover did have a brand loyalty that was quite impressive considering.

I think the MG2 looks quite neat. Also, it drives itself at motorway speeds - can any of the European competition rival that?

Now that's bad timing, would have been wonderful to scrappage a Sherpa Coupe for one of those, then drive it to the next flatcap meet to sneer at their old chod while they 'polish their tailpipes'.

I think it's nice, but it looks like everything else, especially a Volkswagen. This is about a million miles away from what is/was MG though.I hear the new LE500 MGF things are good, hope this does well.

I've heard precisely the opposite! Doors falling off, for example, although this may be a "heritage" thing to emulate the SD1

Certainly no worse looking than any other modern

So is this the new Allegro? Or Maxi?

Just looks like most other new stuff to me, in fact a fair bit better because the headlights don't inexplicably extend all the way into the A-Pillar like many cars now. Yeah, I don't mind it really.
