Initial impressions; nice, not fast but peppy enough, steering feels strange, gear change is awesome - nice 'n' mechanical but kinda vague which I actually like as it takes a little concentration, floor mounted throtle pedal is kinda stiff and has a long travel (like all krout motors- makes heel 'n' toe tricky) - overall happy so far.

Very nice, I've always wanted a 944 myself despite or because of most people's reaction to the 924/944.Can we have some pics of the interior please? The stiff throttle may well be the cable and it may well be worth replacing it before it snaps and leaves you stranded, for about two years I couldn't understand why my BMW E30 drove a bit eurgh and not too smooth then when I gave it some thought I put it down to the slightly stiff throttle cable, sure enough one cable later and it drove like a beautiful (shite) dream.

They're great, you won't regret it!Perfomance is terrible, they guzzle fuel, but handling is good, and they're nice to drive.

Very nice! CAF cheers 'em up performance-wise, decent plugs help too (they like Bosch). Check the condition of the coolant. Umm, that's all I can remember.Congrats, that looks like a nice one.

CAF ?I wouldn't say performance is terribile. Feels about right for 130bhp, which was pretty decent for a 2.0 8v in the early 80s ?
