$2.80 a (US) gallon round these parts..and suits me just fine. Recently traded the Jeep GC for an Expedition and am now getting 3 mpg better fuel economy, up to 16 mpg from 13. Does this mean I'm now 'green'?Also new car runs on regular which is 25c cheaper per gallon than premium, which the Jeep needed else it pinked like b@st@rd.

16mpg Thing is what those boys call petrol over there isnt even available here, most of their stuff is 91ron aka piss, they need the rocket fuel available here lol, the krauts i noticed when i was there have an extra 101ron available in some places!!

Keep in mind also that our US gallons are smaller than your Imperial UK gallons. 1 UK gallon = 1.2 US gallonsTherefore darkfour's 16mpg is actually by your standards a way more impressive 19.2 miles per gallon. Way hey!

You are correct! It doesn't show in the photo but the custom license plate on the car refers to the 395 bhp 6.0 liter V8 under the hood (which is stock from factory), just to make sure people don't confuse it with the earlier years when the SSR had a puny 300 bhp 5.3 liter V8.
