This will save you at least £2,000, which takes the entry price for the brand down to £7,340.The usual scrappage provisos apply – the old car must have an MOT, be taxed and insured, and have been owned by the new car buyer for at least three months.TOYOTASwappage has taken over scrappage here too. Toyota buyers can get a £2,000 saving on the price of eligible new models, which include the Yaris, Auris and Avensis. The marque says it's better than scrappage, with cars aged seven years and older eligible. i think if your on a low income and your car fails its mot big styley you then swap it for one off those ex scrappage cars with a bit off cash into the gubernment coffers sorted everyone happy:wink: i was listening to radio bordem the other day and a vauxhall dealership add was saying missed out on scrapage now you can get 3k off a new car with swapage, so if that dealer can do it then so can all car dealers with no guberment input

Tidy looking early Impreza in there too. Would be a major shame if they all did genuinely get scrapped, but i can't see that happening Major piss take the lot of it - "What's that Gordon, £2000 scrappage discount you say? What a coincidence, our cars just increased in value at the dealerships by £2000!"
