Old stuff in Yorkshire this weekend.

I figured I might aswell combine both these sets of pics in one thread, as only 16hours seperates them and they're at the same place.

 

Firstly, the Wakefield hotrod/classic meet. There was some nice stuff there that I managed to not take any snaps of, a little pickup with a fiat twink, a superclean mk3 Capri with week old Radient red paint and a '90s Crown Vic 'interceptor'.

What can I say I was too busy nattering and drinking my brew.

 

But, I did get some pics of other good stuff, and a little vid

 

 

 

 

And then this afternoon, I went beck to Redbeck for the monthly multiforum Yorkshire meet.

 

A cool, and very Ford heavy, selection of cars this month. I got to feel what a real engine goes like in an escort (cheers John) and managed to miss seeing up close a totally fresh built racecar out for a shakedown. I did manage to spot it in traffic and hour or so later though, got to be the best looking XJ6 i've ever seen

I hope hicky131 is along with some pics soon....

 

Sorry aswell to morrisoxide, I scarpered pretty much as you arrived. Cool looking Mini ( though not as cool as the Oxford IMO ) Those wheels looked well too

I'm not sure if it even needs restoring. I thought it was solid gold Autoshite, just make sure it doesn't deteriorate and enjoy it. I'd take it to an RS owners club meet or Fiestas in the park and enter it in the show and shine
