Due to other commitments we are not able to accept contributions to this site for the time being - we hope to return to it during 2005

Latest updates: 02.12.04

I guess things move pretty slowly in the world of corrugated iron?

That Junkers is a WONDERFUL machine!! look at it!! The corrugations were to enable the use of such thin panels - much the same as on the H Van

What a marvellous site! Great stuff.

One of the most interesting users of corrugated iron was Col. H. F. Stephens who was a railway engineer who specialised in building minimum cost railways that could be run on a proverbial shoestring. No corrugated iron enthusiast can afford to ignore the work of Col. Stephens, who now has his own fan club "The Col. Stephens Society" which has its own web site: www.colonelstephenssociety.org.uk.

Just found a place that still does old style corrugated Nissen huts. I'm going to enquire about prices as I'd love to replace one of my buildings with one.
