Not much to this one. Have you got a preferred place to take your shite? Do you have a handed down piece of shite? Is there somewhere you've revisted from a great family holiday with your present piece of shite? Has the destination changed much?

Allow me to demonstrate.

Conway, 1992. Blue 1500 Beetle is still with us and in the family after being bought secondhand by my mum in 1969. The white Beetle and Charade are long gone sadly. Chances are GVM will know who the people are too :D

Conway, 2010. This is where my Amazon now lives.

My very first car, pictured in May 1985 just after I'd past my driving test and bought the car for £275 after seeing it advertised in the local evening paper. The location is a layby at the top of Hemerdon Bank where I watched/photographed the mighty class 50's at the time :D

Here we are over 20 years later, same place and my current Zodiac. Sadly no class 50's can be seen thundering over the summit of the bank now, but it's still a nice spot....

On a similar note, I am currently making enquiries about this:

Because my dad had one in 1979, and I loved it.

Sentimental? Yes. Sensible? No. Is Mrs S happy? What do you think?!?!

Fuck, that wouldn't be a bad breaker fo' mine actually. I doubt my unit mate would appreciate A framing it back from EDINBRGH though. He is Glaswegian.

Am I welcome to take you up on that offer, too? Hoping to be able to call and view it tomorrow, on my way back from Edinburgh deliveries.

Mate, I've checked the distance between myself and Alloa and it's something like 5 hours one way. Too far for me. What I would ask is that if you (S-S) gets it, and you then decide it's too rough to take on, could I have first dibs on parts etc etc?

No probs, WAT. Hoping to have a look this affy, but if it is as rough as it looks, it will probably be staying north of the border.
