Current value of old car radiators?

Are they worth anything? I just removed the rotten one out of the Astra, it'd be good to make a little money out of it.

 

 

Its radiator is a bit worse than that! Must have been as old as the car.

Hope the scrapyard one does the trick.

Sadly, I believe there is some value in scrap rads at the moment.

A single radiator's probably worth about a fiver then? Not bad.I also have loads of metal veg oil tins to recycle, they're going to love me.

Must be worth something.I had the old Land Rover one nicked from the side of the house a couple of months back.

Not much, I'd've though. Old ones can be recored I think - that looks like it needs it, and probably will just equal a reproduced motor factor job after that.

:shock:Nice work MG/Rover!I've found Rover radiators to be pretty shonky in the past, but when you're talking about 10+ year old cars it's bound to be an issue unless they've been changed before.
