That's gonna be expensive! Damaged yank classics content

Apologies if this is now old news but it's the first I've seen about it.

I've just been reading about the Russo and Steele auction house in Phoenix, Arizona, They had a large auction on last month with two large marquees full of classic American cars when strong winds blew the marquees over and crushed the car's inside.

I bet the insurance bill is going to be expensive!

Have to say, the collapsing marquee wasn't the fist misfortune to visit this particular vehicle...

All the same, that little bald geezer's still reeling from the shock.

Oh Dear what a pity :o That black Trans am and one of the others look like hail damage, but most have just had great lumps ot marquee thrown at them. That should tie up their legal system for a few years.

It was a big storm, that. My parts manager had a '67 (I think) Camaro SS there he'd spent a couple of years restoring. It's mullered. He's Gutted.

Hey Ian, there was also a Sunbeam Tiger in that lot, believe it survived unscathed. It was being watched closely by various Sunbeam clubs state-wide to see how much it would reach, as it was an unearthed original.Unfortunately no pics have appeared of it as yet.

The Orange Torino looks to have taken the worst structural damage, but it looks to have had way too much spent on it to be just thrown away. Good. Someone has to repair it.
