Also on the subject of wheels, yes they are 4x100 so I could put the Ronals from the Felicia on it. Weirdly, the mk1 is 4x98 so the same as most Italian stuff. There's nowhere near as much choice as 4x100 but there are some lovely Cromodora wheels out there and Fiat X19 wheels. I keep scouring ebay but then I think my white five spokes suit it perfectly.

That colour always reminds me of these for some reason...

Never could remember what the turquoise flavour was, probably E-Number flavour.

We have a Shirley near here as well in Croydon, that has the missing links of evolution as well .  I had to check your photos in case it was 'our' Shirley that you'd got to (would have been a struggle for a bus destined for Weston)

That does look like a 1980s skoda colour chart. I want this one next. 

 

And yes I know of your Shirley, I used to go to Croydon quite regularly on the Routemasters, which dates it somewhat. There's a third one near Solihull, I've no idea what that's like.

Well, I've woken up and it's still there, it wasn't all a dream. 

Makes the neighbours BMW and Merc look rather bland, at least colourwise. 

I think that's it for the Collection Thread, I shall continue further updates on my own thread from now on.

loving the colour - as said by another - IMO best colour Skoda made available.

Had to admit I LoL'd a little at 1st bit falling off on the return journey.

GF here heard me and after a scroll through and telling me it's far better than the shit I drag home - she likes it too. I've never introduced her to the Skoda family so new doors opened....... much appreciated 😀

To be honest I found it quite amusing too, it was a very solid noise as the window just disappeared. Had it broken I might not have been quite so happy but as it was it only added about half an hour to the journey.
