1925 Bugatti fished out of a lake is a ringer!

Oh dear. Looks like somebody kept a note of the chassis number and re cycled it onto another car. No doubt they never expected the one in the lake to see daylight again....

No offence, but the guy who paid £227,000 for that is a bell-end. Theres hardly anything left of it!!. A sculpture my arse, no doubt being shipped over to the states in a container will finish it off. Unbelivable.Would have been far better off getting donated to a local museam placed on a stand with a bit of local history surrounding it and let the public 'enjoy' it.

I like it. I don't suppose the fella with the "world's largest private Bugatti collection" is short of a bob or two.

To us it is the ultimate sculpture,

Are you on drugs? It's a bit of metal bend over someone's knee. I doubt in a million years even Mr Bugatti himself though of it as beautiful.

If that piece of shit is beautiful, then Brum is a fucking masterpiece. Get a grip and open your eyes, you fops.

..its late Art Deco..i think for the period they are beautifully designed ...makes an Essex 6 look like a hay cart....if they restored it it looses its context..and we are all capable of doing something similar..buy a wreck and leave it to rot..except we re not forking out a million squid..and the neighbors definito wont be complaining about this one..

I agree Rab, think it looks great, it took me a long time to really appreciate the form of early vintage cars but i totally 'get it' now.

"Jack Braam Ruben said: "Anyone can buy a restored Brescia [bugatti]… To us it is the ultimate sculpture, an automotive Dali or Monet, created by the world's most fabulous automobile creator and completed by the greatest creator of all, mother nature." I want the drugs he's on, anything that makes that look like a Dali or a Monet must be Grade A+ shit.
