That super-sleek front end makes it a FSO Caro does it not? Or was that just a name used in the UK for the mid-nineties re-launch....errr...flop.

I was taking it to be a Caro too. It will have revised rear lights and a simplified back panel too. Prefer the fussier look of the original myself!
