They have bought them now, they say. Sure they had 'bought them' a couple of months ago, and then they didn't.

I think the first couple of offers were refused, must have stumped up a bit more or else Gm dropped the price...... If this is really happening, I can't help but think they are getting in over their heads a bit, especially if they keep producing the same old DULL 9-5. At least there's hope! One little ray of sunshine from this story though, I didn't realise they had canned Hummer!! Best news i've heard all year!

GM need to can at least 50% of the cars they produce, 99% of it from America. Same with Ford and the rest of the lookalike stuff.

That's the end of Saab in it's current form then [and no bad thing, as the GM based stuff is pretty awful] Judging by what Spyker produce at the moment, Saabs of the future could be fairly interesting!

Good, because Saabs of the past were fairly interesting too :)I'm not going to jump on the "rebadged Vectra" bandwagon but present-day Saabs are, well, dull. They lost all their Saabness years ago.
