Here's my small contribution to this wonderful forum... Shite that I've spotted locally and while travelling around Europe !

I don't think I should apologise for the poor quality of the photographs, as I find that it compliments the poor quality of the cars depicted :-D

Calella, Spain. A C15 previously used by the local Citroen dealership. Found parked by the sea, I bet it has spent more time getting repaired/welded than on the road.

Posted Image

Barcelona, Spain. A Fiat Ducato campervan, on Parisian number plates. That's what I call living the high life !!! Architecture fans should note that Casa Battlo is somewhere to the left.

Posted Image

Barcelona, Spain. The elderly gentleman behind the palm tree was a fleamarket vendor. Judging by his 'company car', business is not exactly flourishing.

Posted Image

Barcelona, Spain. FutureMicroShite !!! I wouldn't mind driving around in one of these horrible contraptions, but I fear that they are more expensive than a good Jaguar Mk.II !!!

Posted Image

Figueres, Spain. It takes a real idiot to turn his back on the world-renowned Dali museum and spend time taking pictures of adapted Renault Espaces. I am that idiot.

Posted Image

Cucugnan, France. Totally worn-out 404 pickup. The definitive vehicle of choice for French peasants ! The Shite-Max next to it was our holiday rental car... Extremely effective in everything it does, yet unbelievably dull and uninspiring. Offered to swap it for the 404, but the peasant angrily refused.

Athens, Greece. I almost crashed my borrowed Xantia to take this picture, but it was worth it. Can you believe that this PL17 is more aerodynamic than a Calibra ?

Posted Image

Stonehenge, England. A lovely Minor, in good shape but with enough patina to prove that its being used daily. Kudos to the owner !

And onto the local spots :

Posted Image

Marbella, 323 and 131. The latter is proof that you can still bribe your way through a VRT (local MoT).

Posted Image

Chinese futureshite, I can imagine a militant group of local BMW owners smashing this up some cold, dark evening.

Posted Image

OMG ! Lada Diva + bodykit + three-spoke alloys + roof bars + aggressive stickers ! Autoshite at its best !

Posted Image

Mint Mehari has been completely restored by local Citroen specialist. Lovely Datsun 140Y is far more rare and probably costs 1/10 of the price of the Mehari.

Posted Image

I have absolutely no idea what this is, reminds me of an Isuzu Florian ?

Posted Image

Mint Renault 4L seen at the airport parking lot. Apologies for the night mode fail :-(

Posted Image

You go ! Predictably owned by a senile gentleman ! Maltese buses in the background for added shittiness.

Posted Image

More Maltese buses, in their natural habitat. Soon to disappear from the roads of the island, thanks to a long-awaited public transport reform !

Posted Image

Bedford Somethingorother. A mobile studio still in use at the Malta Jazz Festival !

That's all for now, hope you enjoyed... More to follow in the immediate/near/distant future !

A fantastic haul there sir. The converted high-roof Espace is particularly tastey.

Told you there were Florians in Malta! Love the 140J coupe, saw a few of them on my Malta trips too. I'm potentially either having 2 separate visits there or one long one this year depending on when the dates fall! :D This'll be my 3rd year in a row visiting the archipelago!

OMG A PL17!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and omg2, a (late) florian!

Wow, some nice stuff there! That Panhard is particularly special - I've wanted one ever since reading a road test, very disappointed when I found out how rare they are.

That looks like a Gordini to me. They're rather good fun. Gordini wheels anyway.

GR8 spots sir! What is Malta like? considering a holiday there this year.

Think picturesque harbours, think bright sunshine & generally very warm most of the year round, think old interesting buildings like from a movie set, think narrow streets lined with bars, restaurants & shops, think friendly welcoming people, think dusty streets throwing up all sorts of interesting vehicles....and that's just Valletta! :D

Gentlemen, thank you all for the kind words. More stuff will get posted as soon as it gets captured on my shite phone camera !

What is Malta like? considering a holiday there this year.

Malta is absolutely awful, but this opinion comes from a very bitter expat who is of questionable sanity and has lived far too long on an impossibly small island in the middle of nowhere :evil:If you want a significantly more sober and objective opinion, check what MrRegieRitmo has posted right above.
