Hopefully assisted by a drink-crazed Austin Champ. According to Wiki, the UAZ shares the same engine as the M21 Volga. So there's a useful fact to know

I have just been pointed it UAZ direction. Looks like the owner of that truck doesn't even know what it is But looking at it it does seem right, not GAZ, but UAZ (which still could be the same thing though ). EDIT: it is the same. UAZ plant was just moved GAZ plant, they both produced AA trucks under Ford deal. There we go, one learns something new ever day

They are ace, there was one on the TV series when Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman went through Russia a few years ago
