Yeah two in one week. It's an ongoing problem with OSFs.

So that's a Cortina and now a Capri in the same week. What the heck is happening.

Autoshite detectives at your stations !Were there locations close ?I have a strange feeling this is not the last we have heard

One in Leicestershire, one near Birmingham, not a million miles by hiab truck....

I dont get how these people know about these cars.Especially the capri, as that looks well hidden. If anyone else hears of cars being nicked keep us updated.Sounds weird but i will keep a little note on my map of these locations

I have decided to copy any stolen reports from other forums to any forum I am on, from now on.

Sounds like a good idea. I bet both this and the Cortina are destined for the oval sadly. Trouble is banger racing aint really racing anymore. They've wrecked all the good tin and thefts like this are the net result. Think about it, nowadays its a car a meeting as wrecking and follow ins are the norm.....If you've got a hundred racers in a given area, thats an awful lot of cars. And I know the dishonest racers are in the minority....but I bet an awful lot of cars are being stolen for racing year on year.

Yep. You can't get a mk3 cortina cheaply now. In fact a lot of them are fetching £3k plus, largely because they've all been smashed up and there's hardly any left. The result is racers can't afford them so are nicking em instead.

Shhhh! You'll wake simmo up.

Does make you wonder how they've managed to twoc them, that Capri looks as though it wouldn't be particularly easy to start/drive off and the area from what I can see doesn't look easily accessible for a Palfinger. It really does boil my piss to read about stuff like this and the Cortina, I think it's pretty likely that the (no doubt) pikeys who've nabbed them will have had them weighed in straight away, or indeed, sent to the oval track.Really do hope that both cars are found intact.

I have information, but it's in the right hands not posted on the open forum. Sorry to sound all cloak and dagger, but I am told posting actual information on the whereabouts of the car/s might hinder any police enquiries. If you find anything out, pass it on to them, don't post it here or on any other forum and give the scrotes the heads up.
