Thought i should post up some pics off my old shite as a jesture off friendship to any who may have got slightly offended by my replies to the scrappage thread

This was a naughty impulse buy you know the kind.

both these where great in the snow now long gone.

80 sport was far better than the cavvy sri in the background. the passat 16td complete with 680k miles

can you tell i liked black back then.

Before and after shots spot the difference.

the mini was a bit off a hoot and the v8 scort was even moreso.

 

i have loads off pics but the scanner is a bit hit and miss

Tell us more about the v8 escort, it looks like it took a huge amount of work.

It was bought as an unfinished project and the engine came out off my mazda rx7 and was then fitted into the mk3 scort with 5 speed manual box the tunel was fabricated from sheet metal and the back axle was capri 2.8 and five linked with coilovers, the front legs where capri billys the capri peperpots didnt suit the car though as they looked to small and it was eventually sold with 15in rs seven spokes.the wide arches where already on the car and where made off steel not sure if they where the real deal though. roofline was cut and shortened useing an edge set joder to give a coupe come salloon look and the hatch was then welded up to further strengthen the shell and a small boot lid with spoiler was knocked up so as to retain acess to the boot. shell was seem welded and a full roll cage was also fitted,I should have some more pics off it in action someware shall todle off and looksy

i wouldnt say that i only know for sure as the bonnet flew up on me and when it hit the roof the whole thing took off into the air as the hinges where shot with the old tinworm.
