Anyone have any experience of Gadbury Dismantlers - Atherton Lancs please?

You seem a bit far away to visit this yard keef (unless they do mail-order that is). Would this be the yard near the end of the Atherleigh Way?If so, I recall it being a 'traditional' yard, wary of strangers, but I've not been near for many years so don't what it's like now. There was also one just outside Tyldesley (they ended up having my Montego Estate  ) a bit further down the A580 but, again, is it still there?I'm tempted to take a drive now, just to find out...

What you do there is use the mouse to highlight the page in blue, as if you were going to copy and paste. CTRL-A works too.

Yep, but the point is; why pay to have a website done that few people can use? :(I've emailed them: a lot easier. :)

I understand Kelly's Yard in Wales have an 18/85 in :-

http://www.wrexhamscrapyard.com/ ?

Anyone visit there at all please?

Not been for a year or so but is that the pic that was on RR? I'd expect they would still have it tbh as its the sort of yard where things don't move quickly.

Incidentally, look at the pic on their website -

Must be an old pic unless they do have Dyannes, Princesses, Lancia HPEs, Marinas and such all just sat there! They do have a lot of old stuff but I think that pic could be a bit old.

Smiths have the shattered wreck of a Wols Six, and an interior-less Austin 2200. It's a good yard for old shite - they've had an Oxford MO, Hillman SuperSphincter, Daimler 250 etc.

No, but could fairly easily be arranged as only about 15 miles from me over the border.

Weeekends usually best for me, ideally Sat mornings (except today typically!) and happy to obilge when I have time.

yep, I live in Wrexham and was at Kellys a couple of weeks ago for bits for my maestro. Didnt get anything in the end for mine, id check what kind of prices he wants for what you are after well before you make a journey.

The yard is like a step back in time - loads of old motors and the Crab was still there as of 2 weeks ago.

I've checked it on IE7 and it's as you describe, but it's as Keef describes wen viewed in Firefox.

Don't think so; unless they are a standard size. Will check my nuts box. :)

You need to go on one of those 'DO NOT BID OR U WILL GET A WHEEL NUT' auctions. I always wondered whether they would actually send you one for a penny or whatever...

Pm sent Keef. Have asked a top bloke I know who lives near the yard to pop in if he gets the chance and he's kindly agreed.Obviously I can't guarantee anything but like I say I've asked and he's a top geezer. Will let you know if I hear anything and failing that will try and get a chance end of next week to whizz up there if needs be.
