Just needs some minor rust treating, probably an exhaust and the rear brakes grind a bit.

what a great little car, whats the model (i know bluebird but issit SLX/Exec, whatever :))

Are those Ford RS wheels? There's a Bluebird round my way wearing those, and I've always assumed Ford, but seeing them now on yours too I'm a tad confused. Looking good though. Planning on doing any minicabbing?

They're off an S13 200SX. They'll be 4 x 114.3mm so Ford wheels wouldn't fit.Boss Bluey Pete.

Yeah they do look Ford Arsey, now you mention it.

LX. Black bumpers means it's a lower spec, probably second from bottom. I was hoping for something really grim but it has PAS, leccy windowsx4, central locking, sunroof etc.

Where did you get that one from Cam?

I also know exactly where that photo was taken, which is a bit weird.

That's alright isn't it? I know you were after something different if possible, but I think Bluebirds are too good at being a cheap daily to dismiss. Which is why I ended up with my second one in a year.Amazing how many toys even the lower-spec models have, with the facelift in any case. You still get two trip meters as well? I do actually sometimes use mine as it was intended, for private and work mileage :D

Yes it does! Central locking, PAS, elecy windows x4, sunroof and a pretty decent looking Blaupunkt stereo speaker set-up.I really wanted a Carina 2/Carina E, or that k-plate 626 Exec, but never mind.

I wondered what the twin trip meter things were for...Mine has a Blaupunkt stereo too and with the 4 speakers it sounds great.

we've seen that bluey before but yeah it was absurdly clean.

it's proving itself useful already;

Silvia stuffed in my lock-up now. :(

I was careful not to overdo the spark plugs when I was changing them to get the thing running but forgot/couldn't be arsed putting a torque wrench to them when I eventually got it into work (that was about 2 weeks/70-odd miles ago) as it seemed to be running ok.Anyway it spat one out today. In the rain, in heavy traffic on one of Manchester's busiest dual carriageways heh heh. It munched the last couple of threads as the plug buggered-off so I couldn't get any purchase to refit it, especially with no tools.Probably would have made it to work on 3-cylinders.....

I don't think I have ever used a torque wrench on a sparkplug. Bit of grease on the thread and don't overtighten has always worked for me.I did notice that the plugs are pretty awkward to access on the bluey though, looks like you need to take a pipe off the the carb to get to one of them.
