Am I in blatant violation of the Autoshite rules by proposing some kind of get together? I hope not.While I reside in New York my also-American lady friend is doing some work in Oxfordshire, and I'm going to visit from Nov 4-Nov 9. Should have a fair bit of free time as she's a workaholic. I may even have my own transport as the idea of hiring a car (specifically a model not sold in the States, like a Peugeot, Fiat, Renault, even a Corsa) is tough to resist and the prices look tolerable. Anyway would love to grab a beer with some, any folks in the area. We can talk about Allegros, Talbots, Top Gear, or I'll just bring my photo collection of rotten Yank cars. Worst case scenario we awkwardly play some darts and then you come up with an excuse to get home to the missus.Feel free to PM if you don't want to reply directly to this thread.
