Just wondering like - there's one up in my local scrappy - solid body (rear panel has been restored but not sprayed), wheels are off, as are the rear and front light covers, but otherwise seems to be in very restorable nick.

Okey dokes - drove up today and took some 'hopefully not too bad' photies...

The gaffer sez he wants 200 notes for it as it stands btw...

So there ye go. Maybe this is all a bit overkill, but I REALLY hate to see class cars die!

How very sad; a good solid old Rootes product of its day.the only Super Minx I know of now speaks Spanish....

My mate has got a Super Minx convertible in for MOT at the moment... I've not yet seen it, even though he's had it a while! I know he's got a soft spot for them having had an A-suffix saloon in cornflower blue before. Lovely car to drive, really nice gearbox.Pics please, just for the hell of it!Mark.

It's not Cornflower blue, it's Azure Blue, colour code 57 IIRCI would love another, a Mk3 (Flat rear screen) 1592 in the said blue with a white stripe, please! EFN636C I'm sorry for treating you bad..........

Which local scrappy is this binhoker?

They're called 'Podders' - up Mapperley Tops way - kinda betwixt Sherwood and Arnold.Near a wee township called Woodborough. They seem to have a fair amount of obvious scrappage scheme victims now - will potter back up there - maybe today and get a few shots off....

Sound. There's another one out that way too on Spring lane - good size, and very friendly, but mostly new stuff with a couple of rotten trannys thrown in...

it's a shame, i bet no one will save it, looks pretty solid and 200 notes isn't bad either. if only i had the skills/space/equipment.

it does look pretty sturdy, loks like its had the old chain lift though.
