I do have a very bad soft-spot for a nice mk3 escort.That is a lovely looking 2-door example. Did always like em in red. I think I shall be buying an RS1600i mk3 at some point in my life...There is a lovely pale-blue mk3 that I see occasionally round these parts. It has 2-doors, 2 seats and sits about an inch from the ground. It looks as if the owner has decided that he doesn't need springs at all and has removed them completely. However it looks the dogs danglies. Still badged as a 1.3L and I think it's got 14" RS wheels on it. Bounces down the road worse than a go-kart, but makes me smile and want it everytime I see it.

The brick chimney dates that pic more than anything, there used to be 3 or 4 like that in my area and they were all demolished between about 1980 and 1985, would they have been in use up until then or something?
