VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 colour of my Polo, and the reason i needed another camera... taken par Kodak (10 year old) same polo but with newer camera, yay real colour is back.... no more pink for me see guys its not pink honest
MrRegieRitmo Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Looks much better, just always assumed it was a burnt orange colour!
retrogeezer Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I saw a 1985 C plate Coupe in that colour for sale the other day... £500 with 12 montsh MOT & 6 Months Tax. I like them...the other half wasn't so keen though!
Milford Cubicle Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I think the sensor on your old Kodak must have been knackered.Looks much better through the new camera.
Cavcraft Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Bloody hell, it's even changed the colour of your wheels!I like the sort of simplistic look of those Polos and the slam and the wheels are working well I reckon.
VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 is the sensor worth repairing or is it to costly for a 10 year old camera, its a great camera and does need a clean anyway but if its going to costa bomb i'd rather buy a newer SLRI like the sort of simplistic look of those Polosless is more only paid €400 for this one with full 2 years ticket, nowhere near as quick as the GK Polo i had, but now pulls better with custom exhaust/ GK inlet and a slightly bigger carb
CortinaDave Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 You could flog your old camera to T - Cut so they can use it to take "before" pictures for their adverts
VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 lmao i may just do that for my own ad's
Richard Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 It's not just something in the settings is it?
VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 no i've completely cleared it numerous times via the reset button and its constantly the same
VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 but would that affect the red??? its the only colur i proper have probs with like this..?? should be ferrari red lol can defo under the idea of white balance as some are like this with it.. although its ment to auto adjust
Milford Cubicle Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 It looks like the whole photo is washed out, I doubt it's white balance. My old Fuji used to do the a similar thing when its sensor was on the way out.
VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 umm depends on the cost of the sensor i suppose, im sure the qualitys spot on as other pictures i've seen from the camera on the net etc are mucho better than my crock of shite
Milford Cubicle Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I doubt if you can even get a new sensor for it, or if you can it'd outweigh the value of the camera.
VWPowered Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 new SLR it is then lmao.. still it'll do for some pics of the kids, they seem to come out alright
