Am I right in thinking the camper in the last 3 snaps is a Rover 400 conversion?

Is it a camper or is it one of those '5th wheel' type things?

They are known as 'Clip Cars',i think they are very rare in the UK but more common in France

What, so they are not a conversion as such, more like a caravan-ish kinda thing? Wasnt aware of them.

I remember seeing a few 'en france', the reverse aerodynamics of those must make for hysterical (not in a good way) towing!

Caravans are an example of those things which work fine in theory but which are terrible to be stuck behind and probably even mor eterrible to be stuck inside. Especially on a wet windy day in Withernsea.

Hmmm. Those ClipCars look like a towed caravan, but very closely coupled. Then the Laguna picture seems to show it's a 5th wheel sort of arrangement.... on the roof? It looks like it's coupled to the roof bars!
