Great pics MatT, any chance you have details of the 'for sale' Super Minx?

Super Minx had no phone number, I think the owner was sat on a deck chair near by, which isnt much of a help now.As for those boards it is a complete mystery what they are for, appart from ruining my photos.

Looks like a proud display of rally plaques to me  I've got quite a collection of these myself from all the rallies/shows that I've been to over the years.

an ill-matched pair of boards can give a much-needed touch of shite to even the shiniest of cars :D :

Ah, plaques. The only other item I could think of yesterday was beer bottle labels...

I hate those boards, they make photos look pants. I want to see the car not how many bloody shows they've been to since 1994. I mean they're not actually prizes either, only souvenirs. Adds no interest or merit to the vehicle whatsoever. That Avenger estate is worthy of a ZOMG however 8)

I can answer that, I asked the old boy the other week when i saw it at Walton (That's was the third show i'd seen it at this year) and he wanted £6000 for it, I nearly fell over when he told me, It may be mint but not that mint.

Looks like it was a good show, I when to the nationals instead, the last car show i went to in Clacton only had 30 cars at it.

Ive got a whole pile of those stupid plaques from shows gone by , dont seem to get them so much now , shame as most are brass and my scrap pile was almost worth a quid or two.

Six grand, for a super minx? What is the world coming to....Were it a drop-top then furry muff, but a saloon...?

I agree, I nearly chocked on my Mr Wippy when i asked him, you can see the price on the picture above, £5950, Shocking stuff.

I also like the way he's added 'The Best' on the For Sale sign in the back window then stuck a Halfords 1.6 badge on the back. Cock.

And £1900 for this!, I would of been all over it, Seem's like a bargain to me, and much rarer than your average Mini, Lush 8) .

I know of an Imp van thats just been shipped over from NZ , with import duty , shipping costs etc , total price , just short of £15,000 :shock: , Super Minx is cheap by that standard. :?
