SiC Posted Saturday at 10:10 Posted Saturday at 10:10 Yes. It keeps randomly resetting itself. Bizarre. Literally no updates or settings changes. LightBulbFun 1

stripped fred Posted yesterday at 03:37 Posted yesterday at 03:37 Hi, it's there a guide on how to display photos in post? I can display all photos at the end but I do not know how to display them at intervals.

I guess it's been stable too long before something becomes needy again. Forum software decided to gobble up all the search server storage by tripling it's normal usage. Then it fell over. Nuked the database indices on the filesystem - which I'm surprised it worked without it throwing a tizzy. Then force rebuilt the indexes last night. Should be back to normal by now. loserone and RayMK 2

After you have uploaded a photo, it will appear in the 'Drag files here' section below the text in the text editor. Click in the text of your post where you want that photo to appear. The flashing cursor will become visible there. Then click on the photo in the 'Drag files here' section. That photo will be placed at the location of the cursor. As an example, here is a photo of my 1994 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe, positioned here: Any photos you have uploaded but haven't placed within the text will get published in a set of images at the end of the post, instead. This may well be what has happened in your posts so far. Give it a try and see how you get on. stripped fred 1

Hopefully they'll fix some of this buggy shite in the version 5 thats coming soon. But how much do we want to bet it's even more buggy... loserone 1
SiC Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago Just rebuilt it all and the search is indexing now. I think on the current setup it takes about an hour or two to finish indexing. Pretty sure trying to use a terminal on a phone is triggering my RSI. 🫣 loserone 1
loserone Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago Thanks boss. Time to write a small shell script?
SiC Posted 33 minutes ago Posted 33 minutes ago The docker containers for elastic search are all shell scripts to regenerate passwords, etc. Just needs a bit of editing if I'm up-reving. A tad fiddly on a small screen to type the names in. Topics has finished (pretty quick) so "Content I Have Started" should work again. Indexing posts (for search) takes longer and that'll hopefully be done in an hour or so.
