[Negative Creep]

A sad day indeed, but one that I knew was coming. I've already got several people interested, so if you fancy it be quick!

 

I've owned it just under a year now, bought it off ebay and it turned out to be in even better condition than described. I've loved every minute of owning this car and really really don't want to sell. However I'm off to New Zealand in November and can't afford to store it (believe me I would if I could). The main points are

 

 

Full MOT (went through first time!)

Tax until end of November

41 on the clock (can't verify but having had the car checked over there is no way its done much higher)

Undersealed from new so no structural rust

Folder of history

Spares included

 

Parts I've changed:

Battery

Alternator

Radiator recored

Water pump, hoses, antifreeze, thermostat

Dizzy and carb rebuilt

Oil and filter 3 times

Points and plugs x2

HT leads

Voltage regulator

NSF wing

 

There are a few mods

Weller steels with Yokohama tyres

Halogen headlights

ISO wiring and holder for stereo and speaker pods

Wing mirrors

Rev counter

Boot rack (factory fit)

All of the above can be returned to normal if you wish, all the parts are included

 

 

Bad points

Clock doesn't work

Some surface rust, nothing structural (as shown by the MOT)

Paintwork isn't great, it's cracked on nsr wing and a patch on the bonnet is the wrong colour. As you can see it's perfectly presentable though. The miscoloured door is being sprayed tomorrow

Few rips in driver's seat

Dent on bonnet where some spineless pondlife walked across it

Slight brake imbalance (MOT advisory)

Tyres around the 3mm mark

 

This car has been thoroughly maintained, the easy stuff by me and the rest by a professional mechanic. We've had this up on the ramps and it really is solid underneath and most of the bits appear original. He couldn't stress enough what great condition the internals were in, better than some cars a third of its age. The amount of attention this car gets is nothing short of astonishing. I 100% guarantee you this car will get noticed and you will have an endless stream of people coming up to talk about it. Drive along and people get their camera phones out, wave and even stop dead in the road to look. Old people say how they used to own one, adults how their parents had one and kids will ask what it is. Oh and the ladies love it

 

I've used it all through the year, including a 600 mile trip to Kent which entailed a complete lap of the M25! Performance, handling, comfort and refinement are certainly not modern car standards, but trust me you won't care

 

Now I've already had offers around the £1400 mark so that's the region I'm looking for. Car will be at Retro Rides gathering on Sunday

When I get to NZ I want a Ute! Probably common as fuck chav wagons, but a novelty for me. Will most likely end up with a shite camper though
