Car Magazine Delivery

There’s a decent collection of 80s Autocars come up for sale on eBay, but I have been banned from my wife from going to collect them. They are in Ashbourne, I’m in Cambridge:

“You’re not driving all that way for a bunch of old magazines are you?” she hinted.

 

Any suggestions as to a cheap way to get them delivered? If I can get them delivered to work, I can then sneak them in the house a little bit at a time. They look to be about 4 A4 paper boxes worth, and I know from experience that they will way a hefty amount. I know I should just forget about it, but I’m a car magazine addict. Take her out for a lovely meal near the sellers house, and take an extended toilet break to nip over and get them?

Do we have anyone local who could collect them for you?  One of you could subsequently visit the other, and they might leap from one car to the other....

I have already pushed my luck sneaking a large collection of Classic and Sportscar that someone at work wanted rid of. Added to the, shall we say "extensive", collection in the loft means I have to be somewhat diplomatic. Still, at least she got the loft floored out of it.
