GDPR and tracing your cars service history

My e60 has some main dealer history but no bills / receipts. The car was originally from N.I before coming to over the water via ferry.

 

I would like to see what work it has had done and if possible get copies of the receipts however GDPR means no personal details can be passed.

 

Anybody done this lately as I expect to be fobbed off by the dealer.

Alfa Main dealer offered me the service history of an Alfa I had post gdpr. He wanted to see the V5 in my name and £25 ‘for the administration effort’ and they’d pull out the history, minus previous owners details.

 

I didn’t bother in the end as I moved it on via Gumtree, FSH is not something that gets asked much on there...
