^^ That website remindes me that there used to be a place similar called "Cars Go Cheap At Big Mikes" years ago. i used to like thier advert in the local rag on a friday evening, which used to list such cars as "Mini Clubman, 6 weeks test, needs work £75" or "Ford Capri, starts and drives £100".

a freind once bought such a car like that from there, a Capri 2 with, as i remember maybe 3 months test, it was truely dreaful. underseal tide mark 1/2 way up the body all round, hand painted post office red above, and it smelt like something had died in it. it lasted about 10 days before finally giving up and dieing. Happy days

Bought a Dyane @ Big Mike's about 20/25 years ago (was it in Darlington, or near Asda @ Stockton?); it cost a £10.00 ''salesman's fee", about another £40.00 cash, and a part ex useless Alfetta 2.0 litre saloon, in 'respray blue'; the Dyane lasted out a good, but wet, summer, toured the South West in it, back to Sunderland via London, then swapped for a friend's mint Navy Blue 1.3 'S' reg 4 door Marina. Dyane subsequently sold on as a donor to build a Lomax.

You'll have to enlighten me. From here it is rusty, has baggy seats and stomit tyres.

Wowzers.... how clean is that?!?!?

sadly i bet its been some old dears pride an joy, and now that they have given up driving (or dead) the car is going to end up in the hands of some mongtard who's going to slam it onto its arse, stick some goppin' wheels on it, rip that sweet little motor out of it and "install" some smokey POS redtop in it.

What a shame.... If onl.y i had somewhere to put in... :-(
