Letter on garage headed notepaper required

The DVLA in their infinite wisdom have refused to admit they were wrong when they listed the cc of my van as 1600 not 1993 - as the engine number isn't changing they are asking for a letter confirming the capacity and the fuel type change petrol to gas.

I know I could knock up something on word from kerbside motors but knowing my luck it would be the single one they would ring back.

Is anybody in a position to help me out, obviously I will supply photos of the block number and engine number - it's a pinto so it's pretty obvious with the 2.0 raised on the block - and the gas setup, you don't need to confirm it's safe just that it is fitted. I'm pretty sure it's been MOTd as LPG since I had it anyway so it should show on that history.

I'll cover costs and a drink.

Where are you based? Might look a bit strange if a garage from the other end of the country does it. If it is any help I can provide an engineers report but I am Aberdeenshire

Toosavvy and Hairnet are your best options.

I will have you all know that my IMP (884 KOE) went into a Peugeot/Renault dealer [ex Hillman] for a Safety Inspection for the Insurance, after my rebuild.

MOT tester said he'd never seen as clean a one, and I contacted DVLA for engine change to 998.

Peugeot lads were pretty nifty on my BV head rebuild + finding a Works in/ex gasket ;)

Wylam Garage BTW.... Housing est now (but of course)
