Wow, I've been spotted! In my local aswell. Where you from James? Were you just passing through wakefield?

You have a surprising amount of Mk2s up your way, non left on the roads in Sheffield! Where was the LWB with the sliding door?

That last one, im sure is a Dat 280.That Mk1 Astra looks a peach, if a 'mate' did that to me he would get a firm kick in the spuds to say the least and would not be my mate anymore :x:x Nice eclectic collection of snaps :D

What's the story with the Midget?

It was a 50th birthday present for my mums friend from her husband about 6 years ago. Unfortunatly they got divorced so it was left sat for a couple of years and they wanted shut so i saved it from certain death. Its not in bad condition having been restored when they bought it from within their familey, I picked it up last month and it started staightaway with a booster and ran good on the way home, im planning on taking it for MOT to see if its worth doing and if not it`ll either get broke or sold as easy project ??

If you look closely you can see the axle stands  I think the bricks were holding the engine up, cant remember what was wrong with it ?

The shot of the white Sierra....Wakefield district? Not the same car-park that Hirst showed us from some archive site?

Not sure which one Hirst posted? but this is "the mushy" car park in Ossett town center its called that as its mushroom shaped when viewed from above apparently ??

I’d imagine a 2.0GLS Cortina would be a very satisfying car to drive around. My dad was going to get one new as a company car in 1980, but he chose a Guilietta instead!I saw a Mk4 the other day (in a spec which outdoes that one, pic’s to come) but it has to be said the facelift Cortina is more attractive.

That's the one! I knew I'd seen that car park before!!

All looks like Wakefield (bar the motorway), that Marina looks like it's at Asda and the Reliant is near my favourite ropey newsagents.

Shame to see the Passat B2 abused in that way, think.....I'd.....rather......see.....it......(not sure I can say it).....s-c-e-n-e-d....there said it!
