Just a quick 'Hi' from a long time lurker.

Hi everyone. I have been a lurker on here for quite a long time and I thought it was about time I signed up...so here I am! I have always run shite cars, can't be doing with all these new fangled computerised nightmares, I can't fix em, can't afford em and can' stand em. I have loads of piccies of my old crudmobiles, I will get round to scanning and posting them for your enjoyment when I get more time. I am at American car shows most weekends during the summer and also go to a few classic car and steam rallies so I will make sure I always have my camera to hand. I currently run an 89 Volvo 740 as my daily steed, I also have a 1957 Mercury Monterey. Dead in the garden with a goosed ecu....grrrr..is a 2001 Vauxhall Omega, absolutely the worst car I have ever owned. So that's it really, just wanted to say 'HI' , and keep on shiteing!

Thanks for the warm (and very quick) welcome! I will try and get piccies up asap, I'm on a new laptop just now, all my photos are in my old computer which is buried in the spare room at the moment, I'm busy just sorting out my caravan..also shite..for this weekends show at Bridlington. I will be taking the 57 Mercury and a barrel of ale like most other weekends during the summer. I have been part of the Yank car scene for 25 years now, we just park up and party for the weekend, our own little 'club' is known as The Cowbag Cruisers, just a daft name for a bunch of daftheads! Hello! Sounds like you will fit in well, looking forwards to see some photos of the mercury, my mate used to have one, can't remember if it was a 57 or 53, he had a f-100 and i can never remember which was which!
