First thing first, check that there isn't any ECUs in the rear wheel well. Especially as it's got a sunroof I think this age is about when they were in there? Later versions removed them. Iirc the wire on them are long enough to make them fit in the side panel in the boot.

I'm sure RBJ will be able to advise more/better.

I think with these there's no point in worrying about what might go wrong as you'll not sleep at night.

Just get in and enjoy the v8 wafting and keep a roll of insulating tape in the glove box for covering up the dashboard warning lights.

I can confirm the car can cover ground at an alarming rate. However I need to find out how to play a cd.....

First job - cabin filters. Often neglected and a good indicator as to how well the car has been serviced.

The current filters were dirty. They were UFI items so at least they have been changed.post-4771-0-05843900-1538064311_thumb.jpg

New ones in. Cleaned the plenums out before putting everything back - usually there is an eco system hiding behind the drain holes but I only found a few leaves.

Car is currently doing around 18mpg - I have seen 20 on the display but I never bought it with economy in mind.
